How we protect the vote
A poll is only worth something if nobody can inflate it. These are the rules Vwapèp applies to every vote, with live figures.
1
votes counted
6
votes excluded
All polls combined. Excluded votes stay in the database but count in no result.
1 verified account = 1 vote
To vote, you confirm your email with a 6-digit code we send you. Each account has one vote per poll. You can change your mind while the poll is open, but your vote never counts twice.
Disposable emails refused
Temporary addresses that vanish after a few minutes can't be used to vote, so nobody can create ten accounts in a minute.
Votes without an account don't count
Before 21 October 2026, it was possible to vote without an account. Those votes are removed from every result, because nothing guaranteed one person = one vote.
Daily monitoring
When many different accounts vote in the same poll from the same internet connection, the team reviews it. A shared connection (carrier, cybercafé) can explain it; if it is fraud, the votes are excluded and their number shows on this page.
Your vote stays private
Your email is never published and candidates never see it. In the database, the vote is tied to a fingerprint that can't reveal who you are. The connection address is also stored as a fingerprint.
The poll's limits
It is an open poll: anyone who wants to answer can. It doesn't represent the whole population and it isn't a forecast. The margin of error only shows once there are enough answers.
